Turn Around TimeAverage turnaround time of a container. A differentiation is made between export and import turnaround times which cover the period of time of on-carriage/off-carriage of the container. Furthermore, an empty turnaround time is calculated. This is the time the container remains empty in the depot after use before it is used anew. From these partial turnaround times an overall turnaround time may then be calculated depending on the type of container and the area. Syn.: Turntime |
