Weight Cargo

A cargo on which the transportation charge is assessed on the basis of weight

Weight Dues

Part of the freight payable by the ship to the terminal. The rate is determined in accordance with the volume of cargo interchanged at the terminal

Weight Goods

Term used for freight units whose weight exceeds its dimension, i.e.t 1 mt needs more than 1 m3 of space. The freight is calculated on the basis of the gross weight. Opposite: Measurement goods

Weight Shipped

Term related to voyage charter. It means that the freight is calculated on the basis of the weight shipped

Weight Ton

WT = 1,000 kg

Well Car

A stack car; a drop-frame rail flat car

WGK
